RERA Chhattisgarh is a state-level regulatory body formed under the RERA Act, 2016, which aims to regulate the real estate sector, ensuring transparency and protecting the interests of buyers. The objectives of RERA include:

  • Enhancing transparency in real estate transactions
  • Ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Protecting buyers’ interests

RERA Chhattisgarh Fees & Charges

The fee structure for various types of projects under RERA Chhattisgarh is as follows:

  • For Real Estate Developers If the area of the proposed project does not exceed 1,000 square metres, the fee is Rs. 5 per square metre.
  • For projects where the area exceeds 1,000 square metres, the fee is Rs. 10 per square metre.
  • For Commercial Projects If the area of the proposed land is not more than 1,000 square metres, the fee is Rs. 20 per square metre.
  • For areas exceeding the mentioned limit, the fee is Rs. 25 per square metre. If the area is less than 1,000 square metres and includes both commercial and residential units, the fee is Rs. 10 per square metre.
  • If the area exceeds 1,000 square metres, the fee is Rs. 15 per square metre.
  • For Real Estate Agents If the applicant is an individual, the fee is Rs. 10,000 with a renewal fee of Rs. 5,000. If the applicant is not an individual, the fee is Rs. 50,000 with a renewal fee of Rs. 25,000.

Protection for Chhattisgarh Real Estate Buyers

Buyers can file complaints for any violations under the RERA Act with the Adjudicating Officer or Regulatory Authority. A Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1,000 is required to file a complaint.
